The section cleaner is a cleaner at the tail of the belt conveyor. It cleans the non-working surface of the conveyor belt and scrapes off the accumulated materials and debris on the back of the belt to prevent them from being brought into the tail roller. There are several types of empty section cleaners, such as V-type, O-type, Y-type, and inclined types. During the transportation of materials on the working surface of the conveyor belt, it is inevitable that the materials will deviate and scatter. When they fall on the non-working surface of the return section, they will be drawn into the tail roller or the redirecting roller and adhere to the surface of the roller, causing uneven tension of the conveyor belt and damaging the conveyor belt. Large materials or debris colliding with the tail roller will directly damage the equipment and even cause casualties. Therefore, it is necessary to install a cleaner, namely an empty section cleaner, on the redirecting roller of the return section and the inlet of the tail roller.
